Dear members and friends of Sydney Audio Club Inc.,

Our next meeting for 2026 will be on the 8th of March.  At this meeting we welcome back Cameron Keating from Maxmedia who will present the Pylon Audio Jade 10 speakers on their unique stands, to be shown for the first time in Sydney, paired with the Fezz Titania amplifier.

Note that there will be no TechTalk this month.

The doors will be open from around 1:30pm to meet and chat with members before the meeting starts at 2:00pm. There will be an afternoon tea break mid-afternoon before the meeting finishes at 5:00pm.

Guests are welcome – we are a very friendly club so you don’t need to know anyone to join us for an afternoon of fine music and sound. If you happen to be late just quietly slide into a seat and join the meeting.

To our guests, we respect the music being played so we request that you refrain from talking while music is being presented. There will be plenty of time for friendly banter between tracks and during the breaks.

The system being presented for 8 March:
• Pylon Audio Jade 10 speakers
• Fezz Titania amplifier.
• Reavon CD player for CD and usb input and streaming will also be available.

This background led Mateusz and Mikołaj to recognize an opportunity to pursue their true passion: since 2011 they have been designing high-quality loudspeaker systems where meticulously crafted cabinets play a fundamental role.

The Jade 10 are the smallest loudspeakers in the series, combining a compact form with surprisingly big, high-end sound – all enclosed in elegant, timeless vintage-style cabinets.

Fezz Titania amplifier
The Fezz Audio Titania is a highly regarded, powerful tube integrated amplifier known for its dynamic, neutral, and open sound signature. Utilizing a push-pull design with KT88 power tubes and ECC83 (12AX7) driver tubes, it delivers 45 watts per channel, making it capable of driving a wide range of demanding loudspeakers.

Key Features
• Design: Features a distinctive push-pull Class AB1 circuit and custom-made toroidal transformers, which help reduce electromagnetic interference and improve efficiency.
• Performance: Offers exceptional bass control, wide frequency response (18Hz–103kHz), and high neutrality. It is suitable for various music genres, from rock to classical.
• Convenience: Includes automatic bias for hassle-free operation. Depending on the specific version or regional package, options such as remote control, Bluetooth, and tube cages may be available.
• Compact size; RCA and XLR inputs; stereo output is 25Wpc, but mono use more than triples the power output to 80W and adds the allure of fully balanced operation.

The second half of the music session is designed to help you evaluate the system with music that you are familiar with. All members and guests are welcome to offer music to share with us all. For this meeting you may bring some music via USB or CD playable on the club’s Reavon player or request Cameron to stream a track.

All we ask is that the music and recordings be interesting. We'll ask you to tell us a little about the artist/recording before it is played. Tracks over 5 minutes will be faded out, to give everyone a fair go.

Whether you are a novice or a seasoned veteran, you will have the opportunity to listen, learn and share your experiences with others. Feel free to come and hear the capabilities of the system, or to just share the experience with like-minded music lovers in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Guests are welcome – we are a very friendly club so you don't need to know anyone to join us for an afternoon of fine music and sound.
