How to Join the Sydney Audio Club
You are very welcome to come along and join in for a few meetings to get to know us. We are a very friendly Club and we will welcome you and introduce you to other Club members.
Once you decide you would like to join then simply speak with one of the Committee members - they have blue nametags to indicate their position on the Committee. We will give you an Application for Membership form to complete which can be completed on the day if you wish, or returned when you attend the next Club meeting. If you need help finding a Nominator and Seconder for Membership see one of the Committee or an existing member. On the back of the Form, please read our Objectives, Values and Principles and fill in the check boxes to tell us a little about yourself.
It will take about 10-14 days for the Committee to process your application at the next Committee meeting. We will then ask for payment. Our membership year runs from 1stJuly to 30thJune each year (currently $70 per annum). Our Membership Fee is adjusted pro-rata according to when you join, so please ask the Treasurer for the fee at the time. We also offer a concession rate for students, seniors and concession card holders.
After your payment is processed you will be emailed your Digital Membership Card and information on how to access the Members Only Section of this website. You may need to show this Card in stores to receive your benefits.
We understand that you may need time to decide whether the Club is right for you. Accordingly, we are quite happy to allow you to attend three meetings as a guest to get to know us. After that we do expect you to complete an Application for Membership Form, get involved and contribute to our Club.

Gday, I no longer wish to receive emails from Sydney Audio Club. I've lived in Queensland since 2016 and it is highly unlikely that I will return to Sydney anytime soon.
I want to thank you though for keeping me informed over the last 10 years or so, of all the high-end equipment that passed through the doors of the Sydney Audio Club. It was certainly impressive.
Although I never made it to the club when I lived in suburban Sydney, I did read with interest about the equipment that was being auditioned on meetup days. You went to extraordinary lengths to describe what hi-fi equipment was being set up in the meeting rooms and there always seemed to be informed people attending.
