March 13th 2022 Meeting Invite
Dear members and friends of Sydney Audio Club,
The first meeting back from the Covid shutdown is planned for Sunday 13 March subject to the Covid-Safe Rules as set down by the Epping Creative Centre.
Please read and agree to the following Rules below which have been endorsed by the Sydney Audio Club Committee before attending our next meeting. Please note that although Singing and Dancing are now permitted in the Centre, our Club will not require you to Sing or Dance on this occasion.
If you are intending to come back and enjoy our good fellowship on Sunday 13 March, please reply to this email to let us know you are coming. Please bring evidence of double vaccination to be sighted by one of the SAC Committee on entry, and sign the Visitor’s Book.
Details of the equipment are listed below these paragraphs.
Subject: Revised Covid-Safe Rules for Epping Creative Centre
To all User Groups and Users of Epping Creative Centre.
Please circulate this to your group members.
The NSW government has recently updated the COVID Rules.
The following are the proposed rules for the Epping Creative Centre.
1. All people coming to the Centre must be double vaccinated.
This maintains the current link to requirements for people visiting aged care facilities.
2. Masks are not mandated but are strongly recommended.
3. Use of hand sanitiser when entering the Centre is strongly recommended.
4. QR code is no longer required. You can still check in if you want to so you have a record of when you were at the Centre.
5. The ECC sign on form is no longer required.
6. Groups must use their own record sheet to keep a record of attendees at the Centre.
If a group does not have their own record sheet, they may use the ECC record sheet and keep it in their records.
7. Anyone who tests positive within 7 days of being at ECC must let the leader of the group know so that the leader can let those who were present on the same day know.
8. There is no mandatory cleaning of chairs and tables with sanitiser wipes after each session.
9. Groups must still ensure that tables are clean after use.
10. Singing and Dancing are permitted within the Centre.
11. Food and drink is permitted in the Centre.
It is recommended that food is presented in individual serves and that servers use hygienic gloves to lay out the food.
Regards

Meeting details:
Due to logistic limitations from previous Covid Rules uncertainty it has been difficult to organise equipment from distributors and retailers for this month, so we will be presenting a Grover Notting system with interesting components from one of our members.
We are also delighted to announce that with the generous assistance of Len Wallis Audio the Club has purchased a Reavon UBR-X200 UHD Universal Blu-Ray Player. This player has filled the niche that had previously been occupied by the Oppo players. Len Wallis has been a stalwart and longstanding supporter of our club endeavours since our inception.

The second half of the music sessions will be our popular BYO. Members and guests are welcome to offer music to share with us all. So bring along your favourite music on CD, SACD or USB thumb/flash drive. All we ask is that the music and recordings be interesting. We'll ask you to tell us a little about the artist/recording before it is played. Tracks over 6 minutes will be faded out, to give everyone a fair go.
Whether you are a novice or a seasoned veteran, you will have the opportunity to listen, learn and share your experiences with others. Feel free to come and hear the capabilities of the system, or to just share the
experience with like-minded music lovers in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Guests are welcome – we are a very friendly club so you don't need to know anyone to join us for an afternoon of fine music and sound. If you are a guest and would like to attend, please email <[email protected]> to ensure we will not exceed the room numbers for the current Covid Guidelines.
Venue: Epping Creative Centre, Dence Park
Address: 26 Stanley Road, Epping
When: Sunday 13th March 2022.
Doors open from 1pm to meet and chat with members.
Meeting starts at 2pm and finishes at 5pm.
