Sydney Audio Club Meeting - October 2022
9th October 2022 Meeting: The Sydney Audio Club will be featuring a Perreaux 300 Amp paired with Revival Audio Atalante 5 speakers, being from a new import range courtesy of Len Wallis Audio
Dear members and friends of Sydney Audio Club,
The next meeting of Sydney Audio Club will be on Sunday 9th October with the first ever public audition in Australia of the Revival Audio Atalante 5 speakers, paired with the Perreaux 300iX amplifier from Len Wallis Audio.
The Covid-Safe Rules as set down by the Epping Creative Centre no longer need proof of vaccination status before entry. It is still a requirement that you sign in the Visitor’s Book and notify me if you contract COVID within the week following the meeting. Wearing a mask is not mandated but it is recommended.
The topic for the Tech Talk session this month is “Does the perfect sound exist?” presented by Paul Bryant. We are fortunate to have club members like Paul who has had extensive experience in the recording industry ‘behind the scenes’ in the creation of the final ‘product’ before we even get a chance to listen to it on our sound reproducing systems.
Please arrive around 12.15 pm for this unique interactive discussion. If you happen to be late just quietly slide into a seat and join the discussion. As our club is based on mutual respect, especially in these open presentations, let us remain respectful towards one another’s views and opinions.
There will be a break from 1.30 pm – 2 pm to grab a bite to eat and a drink before the music meeting starts at 2 pm.
Guests are welcome – we are a very friendly club so you don't need to know anyone to join us for an afternoon of fine music and sound.
